Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Sringapuram is a leading Senior Secondary School of Kodungallur in Thrissur District of Kerala. The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi.

I ADMISSION: Admission is open to various classes to merit based on an entrance test and availability of seats.
II FOOD: Only Vegetarian food will be allowed in the school.
III SCHOOL UNIFORM
Boys up to Std V
Light Blue Shirts with half sleeves and one pocket on the left. Navy blue shorts with side pockets. Students who are 145cm and above height should wear Navy blue full pants with side pockets. Loops 5cm in breadth (for belt) are to be provided.
Boys Std VI to XII
Light Blue shirts with half sleeves and one pocket on the left. Navy blue full pants with side pockets and loops 5cm in breadth for a belt.
Low Waist pants and short shirts should be avoided by boys
Girls up to Std V
Light blue shirts with half sleeves. Navy blue pinafore - with a square neck, ides closed with two pleats in front and two at the back 5cms breadth loops above each pleat for a belt and reaching 2 inches below the knee.
Girls Std VI to XII
Light blue shirts with half sleeves. Pants: Regular fit (neither too tight nor too loose), with 2 pockets, 2 pleats, and a front zip. Overcoat: nearly Low-hip length, designed to cover the middle of the seat.
SPECIFICATION:-
Students should be in full uniform with neatly ironed dress and polished shoes. Boys must cut their hair short and girls must plait or tie their hair neatly with blue/black band adhering to simple hair styles. Boys should not wear their pants below the waist level. Higher class boys must come with clean shaven face. Hair colouring, nail colouring, long nails are not permitted. Girls should wear only studs. Extra stud are not permitted. Dangling and extra earrings, fancy nose rings etc, should be avoided. Boys are not permitted to wear eat studs.
IV. FOOT WEAR:-
Boys: - Black plain (without designs) laced leather shoes with Navy blue socks.
Girls:- Black plain (without designs) buckled leather shoes with Navy blue socks.
V. MONSOON WEAR:- Boys and Girls : - Black Sandals with back strap No other type of footwear will be permitted.
VI. MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION:-
The medium of instruction is English. While Malayalam is compulsory up to Std III, from Std IV to VIII students can opt for Malayalam or Sanskrit. Hindi is compulsory upto Std VIII. From Standard IX onwards, Malayalam, Sanskrit or Hindi can be opted as second language.
VII. COMPUTER EDUCATION:-
Students from Std I onwards will be given computer training.
VIII. CO-SCHOLASTIC ACTIVITIES:-
Students are offered ample opportunities to pursue their aptitude and develop their creative talents and social skill through variety of activities as per the specifications of CBSE
IX. FINE ARTS
The school aims at developing the creative talents of students by giving training in Music, Dance, Keyboard Guitar, Art and Craft.
X. MOTOR FITNESS
The school brings out the best sports skills through frequent mentoring and training. Apart from drills, mass PTs and aerobics students are given special coaching in Volleyball, Football, Skating and Chess. To promote strength coordinating and self discipline the school provides training in Yoga and Karate.
XI. VALUE EDUCATION

XV LIBRARY
A well equipped Library consisting of titles on various subjects for general reading is provided in the school. English and Malayalam dailies and magazines are also available in the library. Students are expected to follow the library rules.

XIX MORNING ASSEMBLY:-
The morning assembly is conducted class wise and a rolling trophy is awarded to the best assembly. During school assembly students have to observe proper decorum and Solemnity befitting the occasion.
XX ATTENDANCE:-
As per CBSE norms a minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory for all students. Any extended absence from school must be accompanied by appropriate documentaion for verification. Attendance of the students for all the tests/ assessments is mandatory. Staying away from classes for self-study before examinations is not allowed unless study leave is officially announced by the school.
